Outdoor Experiential Learning: Helping Children Grow Through Practice
The teaching philosophy of YouSen’s Little Classroom is ‘Read ten thousand books; travel ten thousand miles.’ In addition to indoor classroom learning, we organize rich outdoor experiential learning activities each semester.
Over the past year, we have conducted experiential learning activities including nature exploration at Wuhan Zoo, scientific observation at the Botanical Garden, cultural immersion at museums, and career exploration within local communities. Through hands-on practice, children observe, reflect, and express themselves, connecting classroom knowledge with the real world.
Outdoor experiential learning not only broadens children’s horizons but also cultivates their powers of observation, curiosity, and social skills—offering a form of growth experience that traditional classroom instruction cannot replace.
