Scientific Kindergarten-to-Primary Transition: More Than Knowledge—It’s About Habits

Many parents believe kindergarten-to-primary transition means learning pinyin and arithmetic ahead of time. However, scientifically sound transition focuses primarily on developing children’s study habits and social adaptation skills.
At Yousen, we specifically incorporate a "Study Habits" module to train children’s concentration, proper pencil grip, correct sitting posture, and time management skills. Though seemingly simple, these habits form the foundation for children’s entire academic journey.
Simultaneously, our "Social Adaptation" module helps children understand classroom rules, learn teamwork, and manage emotions. The shift from a play-centered to a learning-centered environment involves not only knowledge integration but also psychological and behavioral adjustment.
